The redesign.life Foundation and TechPortal are joining forces to put the GreenKarting schools program on the map in a better and broader way. So that redesign.mobility and the impact program can introduce many more secondary school students to technology and sustainable mobility in a fun and innovative way. For the energy transition to succeed, more technical professionals are needed. It is necessary to change the generally conventional perception and image in the technical field. This is why the GreenKarting schools program has been set up. Within the schools program, secondary school students and their parents are introduced to technology in a broad, challenging and fun way. Together, the students build an electric kart that they actually drive during the driving days at unique locations and real circuits. This involves much more than just technical work; there is also plenty of attention to programming, communication, and design.

The role of TechPortal

Techportal unlocks information about educational programs with a context-rich learning environment and lets young people have fun with science and technology. Through challenges, workshops, and information markets, they encourage collaborations between schools and companies. By joining forces, TechPortal will use its expertise to further develop and implement the educational program.
