EV Roadshow programme started, experience e-mobility in 2023
The EV Roadshow is supported by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management
The redesign.life EV Roadshow is the event where everything around emission-free mobility comes together. The Roadshow will take place in five different cities throughout 2023. The Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management endorses the event, in its widest ambition to let citizens experience EV and smart mobility solutions, and decided to grant a subsidy to the Foundation to facilitate its programmes. The grant will complement the contributions made by redesign.life partners, which represents prominent companies based in the Netherlands with an interest in social impact. Interested cities or participants can still apply to join the redesign.life Foundation.
Experience electric mobility
The motto of the redesign.life Foundation is to inspire people for sustainable change through a series of social impact programmes, and (re)design the future together. The foundation is a call to business and politics to join forces to implement long-lasting and impactful social programmes. Amongst those, the EV Roadshow is one of the flagship initiatives of the Foundation. The EV roadshow's goal is to educate citizens on the potential of electric mobility. Visitors will be able to SIM/E-race, test drive on a track and get information about charging stations and electric (shared) cars.
Social Impact as a Service
We need to make the transition to sustainable mobility a reality, because passenger mobility is facing ecological limits. It is therefore a necessity, but also one of the government's ambitions, to strongly reduce the harmful emissions released by (passenger) transport. Therefore, by 2030, only cars with zero emissions may be sold (new). To make that necessary change, we need to work together. And let the -future- consumer experience the benefits of e-mobility for themselves.
"The EV Roadshow is a great example of how business and politics, in collaboration, are making an impact for tomorrow's sustainable world. I am excited to see that more and more organisations are joining the redesign.life Foundation. The contribution of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management, complemented by the financial support of our partners, enables us to create a fantastic experience in 2023. I am proud that we are going to realise this project together." - Naud Becker, programme lead redesign.life Foundation
"We're in this together. Let's do this together. Let's redesign.life! "
